Built from high-grade aluminium, this premium alternative to steel combines exceptional strength with a remarkably low weight. The PORTAGANTRY provides an impressive 500kg Working Load Limit, making it suitable for a wide spectrum of lifting operations. It’s also rated for up to 3-person fall arrest, delivering enhanced safety when working at height.

Powerful, Portable & Designed to Perform

The system is made up of two adjustable A-frames and a removable beam – all interchangeable depending on your chosen configuration. Whether you’re working indoors, outdoors, on level surfaces or uneven terrain, you can tailor the setup to suit your job.

• A-Frame height options: 1.605m to 5.829m

• Beam length options: 2.5m to 9m

Despite its strength, the Porta-Gantry remains easy to move, transport and assemble. 

Safety Comes as Standard

Supplied with 360° swivel locking castors, the PORTAGANTRY is built to protect users during lifting and personnel access tasks. Certified to EN795:2012, and ATEX approved for Zone 2 (with Zone 1 available), each PORTAGANTRY is anodised for enhanced corrosion protection, making it an ideal choice for harsh or chemically aggressive environments.

REID PORTAGANTRY Beam Trolley Options

REID offers a range of innovative beam trolley solutions designed specifically for PORTAGANTRY systems. 

Gated Trolley 

Featuring a rotating plate and quick-release pin, the Gated Trolley can be fitted to the beam after the gantry has been fully assembled. This unique design allows multiple trolleys to be added quickly and easily, with the option to lock in place.

Master Link Trolley

Fitted during gantry assembly, the Master Link Trolley offers fast connection to a wide range of hoists. It travels smoothly along the beam and can be secured in a fixed position when required.

Close Coupled Trolley

Ideal for low-headroom environments, the Close Coupled Trolley increases available lifting height while accommodating a broad range of hoists. It mounts during assembly and can be safely locked on the beam.

Gear Driven Trolley

Designed for precise load control up to 2000kg, the Gear Driven Trolley allows smooth manual movement along the beam once the load is lifted. Available with a range of chain lengths, it installs during assembly and can be locked in position.
