Hydralic Tirfor TU-H Series
Available in TU16H and TU32H models, this series provides rated working loads of 1.6 t and 3.2 t respectively. The system integrates a Tirfor griphoist equipped with a self-reversing hydraulic ram, powered by either an electric or petrol-driven hydraulic power unit. The robust construction and modular design allow the units to be deployed in harsh environments where manual or pneumatic operation is impractical.
Each hoist includes Tractel’s original Supertirfor steel wire rope (11.5 mm or 16.3 mm), shear pin overload protection, manual backup operation, and compatibility with pulley blocks for increased load capacity. The TU-H system offers smooth, bi-directional rope travel at controlled speeds of up to 2.3 m/min, with multi-way manifold options available to power up to four units from a single hydraulic pack.
The TU-H Series is ideally suited to energy, utility, offshore, and infrastructure projects where high-capacity portable hoisting is required in areas without electric grid access or where safety demands hydraulic actuation. It is CE-marked and compliant with Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and Outdoor Noise Directive 2005/88/EC.
TU-16H: The 1-way system is suitable for loads up to 1600kg. It can be expanded into a 4-way system which is suitable for loads up to 4 x 1600 kg.
TU-32H: The 1-way system is suitable for loads up to 3200kg. It can be expanded into a 4-way system which is suitable for loads up to 4 x 3200 kg.
