The EFS102/2 spinal splint is designed for the immobilisation and transport of injured persons, particularly in aquatic environments. It features a removable flotation insert that attaches securely with Velcro strips, allowing for the transport of a casualty from water. The splint includes two Velcro straps for head fixation, three colour-coded straps with clasps for body trunk fixation in the pectoral and abdominal areas, and two hip straps with clasps for fixation in the hip area, facilitating vertical transport of the injured person.
