Anchor Tester TA
The Anchor Tester TA is a precision-engineered shear test plate used to verify the mechanical resistance of anchorage points under tension. Each stainless steel plate is manufactured with a pre-calibrated central shear section, ensuring failure occurs at a known load threshold. This test method provides a reliable visual confirmation that an anchor point has met the required force resistance during commissioning or periodic inspection.
Designed for single use, the TA plate shears at a designated section (‘S’) when the specified rupture load (CR) is reached. A pair of integrated brace arms retain the test load structure after failure, and dedicated fastening holes accept high-strength bow shackles. Each plate is clearly marked with its load rating and identification information, and is traceable by batch and serial number.
Used with a manually-operated loading tripod and safety sling, the Anchor Tester TA is ideal for verifying structural anchors in façade access, fall arrest, and lifting installations. It ensures compliance with safety procedures and simplifies documentation of anchor point testing in the field.
